By using the Foundation for Life Sciences (F.L.S.)
site, you agree to be bound by these terms and
conditions ("Website Terms"). The
Website Terms govern use of all areas of the
site. If you do not agree to the Website Terms,
you must cease using the site. F.L.S. may at
any time modify the content, nature and accessibility
of the site, in which case the Website Terms
continue to apply.
General information
F.L.S. is a non-profit health research foundation.
Information on this site is generic and is not
designed to take into account the specific objectives,
needs and circumstances of any particular individual.
The information contained in the fact sheets
and other areas of the site should not be used
as a substitute for professional advice.
F.L.S. is not liable to any user for loss or
damage resulting from the information provided
on this site or incorporated into it by reference.
Limitation of liability
Although every care has been taken in the compilation
of the material on this site, F.L.S. does not
warrant the accuracy, adequacy, currency, suitability,
completeness, legality, reliability, usefulness
or fitness for purpose of the material. In addition,
F.L.S. does not warrant that use of the site
will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that
material accessible on or through the site will
be free from errors, viruses, worms or other
harmful codes. To the extent permitted by law,
F.L.S. excludes all express or implied conditions
or warranties of any kind. Where conditions
or warranties pursuant to the Trade Practices
Act 1974 or equivalent legislation cannot be
excluded, F.L.S. limits its liability for breach
of any such implied conditions or warranties
to the replacement or repair of the goods (or
costs thereof) or resupply of the services (or
costs thereof).
Your use of the site is entirely at your own
risk. To the extent permitted by law, F.L.S.
will not be liable (including for negligence)
to any user for any loss, cost, expense or damage
arising out of your use of the site.

your convenience only. Although every care has
been taken to provide links to suitable material,
F.L.S. is not able to review or monitor, and
does not endorse, any third party sites. We
do not warrant the accuracy, adequacy, currency,
suitability, completeness, legality, reliability,
usefulness or fitness for purpose of any material
on third party sites. It is your responsibility
to evaluate the content and usefulness of information
obtained from other sites. Your access to, and

F.L.S. excludes all liability (including for
negligence) for any loss, cost, expense or damage

Intellectual property
The F.L.S. owns all intellectual property rights
in the materials on this site, including without
limitation the text, graphics, logos, icons,
images, designs, interfaces, and layout of the
site. You may only use the site and material
located on the site for your personal use, and
view the site using your web browser or print
or make an electronic copy of material for your
own information, research or study. You must
not use, download, print, copy, display, broadcast,
reproduce, publish, transmit or distribute any
material from the site in whole or in part for
any other purpose without the prior written
consent of the F.L.S..
Governing law
The Website Terms will be governed by and construed
in accordance with the laws of the State of
New South Wales and Australia, and you irrevocably
and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that
your use of the site is not prohibited and complies
with your local laws.
General terms
Any failure by the F.L.S. to enforce strict
performance of any of the Website Terms will
not be construed as a waiver of any right or
remedy of the F.L.S. in respect of any existing
or subsequent breach of the Website Terms.
If any provision of the Website Terms is found
to be invalid or unenforceable, the provision
will be deemed severed from the Website Terms
and the remainder of the Website Terms will
continue in full force and effect.
You must not assign, transfer or otherwise
deal with all or part of your rights or obligations
under the Website Terms without the F.L.S.’s
written consent.
Revision of Website Terms
The F.L.S. may vary any of the Website Terms
at any time by placing a notice on the site
advising that the Website Terms have changed.
You will be deemed to have accepted and agreed
to the revised Website Terms if you continue
to use the site after notice of the revised
Website Terms has been placed on the site.
